Student Council Election

Our class had 13 students run for Student Council!  What an amazing testament to the children's confidence and comfort with their peers. The speeches were well thought out, and many students had excellent ideas for our school.  Some highlights were ~

• Bring back smiley fries
• Longer/more frequent dance parties
• Spirit Days
• Raising money for charities
• More school stores

There were many other ideas, but these ideas came up in many of our speeches.  Our first election ended in a tie!  After our tie breaking vote, we elected our representative.  It was a close race!  Congratulations to ALL students who ran!
