Don’t blink, or

The love of learning every day
The kindness shown
The friendships made
The independence growing
That moment they can do it ~ without
your help (or mine)
Don’t blink, you
might not notice~
They want a little space, but still
need you
They need to try alone and even need
to fall sometimes
They need to struggle to relish in
their success.
While we weren’t
looking ~
They grew, and their pants became too
short
They took responsibility on their own
They included each other
They were kind
While we weren’t
looking ~ fourth grade is over...
