Final Community Meeting and T-Shirt of the Day

Today we had our last 4th and 5th grade combined Community Meeting.  We shared our class Top 10 Opportunities to Learn and Shine this year.

Below is our list~

Top Ten Ways We learn and Shine in room 24

1. Doing speeches (such as Thanksgiving speech) and book talks
2. During chorus and music (trying out for solos and Recorder Karate)
3. During enrichment activities (Haffenreffer Museum/Miss Liz- Poet in Residence)
4. During math ~ Fun activities/days like the X Games (Measurement games ) and working with friends, also taking tests
5. Creating and presenting our social studies presentations
6. BREAKOUT
7. Puff Mobiles
8. Skypes- Mystery Skype
9. Poetry/Technology Workshop - fun activities such as

Rock Poetry Day

10. Morning math and geography work

Mrs. Bodkins also put together a slide show of the ways 4th and 5th graders learn and shine. Here is the link to the slideshow. The children loved seeing all of the pictures.
