On Monday, students gave their speeches for Student Council. Congratulations to all who ran! After a close race, and a tie breaking vote, Alexa was voted as our representative. Congratulations!
During math this week, we learned a new way to multiply. This is challenging, and will take some time to master. Students have been using base 10 blocks at school and can access some virtual base 10 blocks on the Pearson Realize website.
During reading we have been reading non-fiction in conjunction with our unit on Mexico. We will begin our next interactive read aloud next week.
In Social Studies we have continued to learn about Mexico. We will have a test on this topic on 11/21. Students have not received a study guide yet, as this is still a new topic.We will begin our study of Heredity next week.
