Our Week In Review

We are winding down the year, but the learning is still going strong.  This week we continued our study of Energy and Waves in science. We explored different ways energy is transferred.  The students are using scientific vocabulary and really embracing this unit!

We continued reading Charlotte's Web, using the Readers' Theater model of reading.  The students are enjoying this, and showing their abilities to read with expression. It is wonderful seeing the understanding through this type of reading.  Your child can share more about this!  

Book Talks

During Creative Arts Friday we continued to work on our scripts/recordings to share some knowledge.  Look for these videos in the next few weeks.  

Many students from JFK traveled to An Unlikely Story in Plainville to meet the author of Ivan, Katherine Applegate.  What an amazing opportunity!
