Miss Liz returned today for our second day of poetry. We continued to work on writing our poems, and then we started to publish them. We also got to have a poetry reading, with instruments to give our poets some "enthusiasm". Mrs. Merten can't wait for the families to see some of the poems we wrote!From the Teacher's Desk
The Friends of the Franklin Library will be having their Spring Book Sale on Saturday, May 15th from 9AM-4PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for your children to purchase gently used books. The selection of books is incredible! I highly recommend this sale.
There are flyers available at the Franklin Library in both the children's room and upstairs at the circulation desk. Each flyer has a coupon for a free book, so if you are heading to the Book Sale, pick one up!
