We worked with batteries and bulbs this week to build simple circuits. We also tried with a switch. It was tough for us to figure out, but we used all that we've learned....and we all lit our bulbs!
Our chorus and recorder concert was a great success!
We were very thankful to our first Immigration Speaker, Mr. Karlowicz. He is Aidan's dad from Mrs. Williams' room. He told us about his experience immigrating from Poland in 1988. He was only 11 years old! Since he works for Immigration, we learned a lot about his job, too!
The Ladybug 40th anniversary will be celebrated at JFK on Monday. Remember to wear your "ladybug colors"! We are looking forward to our Coffeehouse on Tuesday. Remember your ORANGE tie-dyes.
