Today was a fabulous day! We really enjoyed getting to know each other, and learning a bit about our upcoming school year. We had a chance to read the book, My Teacher is a Monster, by Peter Brown. It was fun watching how the teacher changed from a scary monster to a regular person.
We One of the first activities we completed was creating the audio file below. Each student chose finish either "I heard that fourth grade was ___________________." or "I hope fourth grade is _________________." Please take a minute to listen. It was a great introduction!
We are all looking forward to a great year!
My favorite thing about fourth grade so far, is knowing that at the end of the month, we get to go to Mrs. Merten's chip store and buy candy and pencils and erasers.
