Goodbye 2016...Hello 2017

Our last school week of 2016 was filled with awesome activities.  We had our first whole school morning meeting, we finished making our math games, and we wrapped up our study of division and of the country of Canada!  We also finished our interactive read aloud, Little Dog, Lost.

We also created stained glass Menorahs and hanging ornaments with our fourth grade friends!

Our December speeches were a great success!

When we return from vacation, we will continue the dog theme, focusing on nonfiction reading, researching different types of dogs. We will also be publishing our fiction stories!

We will continue to learn about North America, with a trip to the United States.  During the next several months, we will study the different regions of the U.S., as well as Washington, D.C.  We are looking forward to our travels!
