Summer Science and Social Studies

Hey Gang!  While on vacation this week, I came across this picture:

I know my new friends studied Massachusetts last year!  This is at the site where the Nauset Tribe of the Wampanoags had their first encounter with Miles Standish and William Bradford.  Do you know where it is? Respond in the comments.

Also, my former fourth graders will remember that we studied internal and external animal adaptations.  Check out these interesting external adaptations that I noticed at the beach yesterday!  Have you noticed any animals and their adaptations?

I love forth grade so much and my favorite part about fourth grade so far is that you are my teacher! You are so nice that I can't wait to go back to school tomorrow.

  2. I love 4 grade and I LOVE you as my teacher!!!!! My favorite part about 4 grade (and funniest) was when we couldn't find a good morning meeting spot!! Your so brave to pick up a hermit crab.! I do not like creepy crawling things. Not that hermit crabs are creepy.
    Your Student,
