What a Week!

This week was FULL of activities and events.  As you know, we wrapped up a lot of our instruction, and completed assessments in math, social studies and science.  Students did well on the fraction assessments, and should have their papers to show parents over the weekend.

Many students took the extra credit opportunities offered and learned the lyrics to the Canadian National Anthem (and they sung it!) and/or made a barometer at home.  Well done!  This was a great opportunity to learn the value of doing a little bit extra and earning some bonus points!  Check out some of our barometers below.

In reading we had a sneak peek today of our next interactive read aloud, Stone Fox.  We will formally begin this book next week.
