Our Week In Review

This week, the fourth graders had a visit from Mrs.Silvia of the Haffenreffer Museum at Brown University.  She taught us about archaeology and how scientists can determine the age of artifacts found.  Then we participated in a real archaeological dig, right at JFK!  Thank you to the PCC for funding this awesome experience.

We continue to share the books we love through book talks!  Ask your child about this!

We have been learning about patterns in math.  We will begin learning about more multiplication strategies next week.

We were able to observe our terrariums this week. We all were excited to see the water cycle in action! We also began to look at the plants in our terrariums.  We discussed the parts of the plants and began to discuss why some plants are surviving, while others have died.

During Social Studies we began to learn about the country of Mexico.
