Our Week In Review
We are learning about Greek mythology and the students are really enjoying this genre. We began writing poems based on concepts and ideas from mythology.
We also continued writing the "next chapter," of Snow Treasure. We extended our learning of this book, when students worked in teams to complete a sled building engineering challenge and we raced our sleds down a wax paper ramp. Thank you to everyone who sent in materials for this project.
Thanks to the PCC for sponsoring the Animal Adaptations enrichment program from the Museum of Science, we loved it!!!
We have moved from Washington D.C. to the southeast and we took a VR trip to the Everglades on Friday. The Southeast is such a fun region to learn about and many of us have been to this region of the United States.
Our focus in math has been decimals and fractions and we took our test this week. Students received their corrected tests back on Thursday. Moving forward, we will begin to learn about concepts related to measurement. Keep practicing those multiplication and division facts, it is vital to math success. Ask your child about the pictures you see below, they can give you specific details about our daily learning.
Students gave their March speeches on Friday! What improvement we have seen in this over the school year.
